4th of July

This year we had no plans for the 4th, so we decided to head down to Nauvoo, IL. It was great to see all the church Historic Sites again! The kids had fun seeing a few of the productions they put on in the summer. But best of all, are all the wagon rides (at least that is what Jason kept telling us until we actually got on one). Jason loved to be "riding" behind the horses, not stopping and hearing what the tour guide had to say about each point of interest. He even told the guide he did NOT want to sing, "I am a child of God." It caught the guide a little off guard, but he quickly recovered by saying maybe his sisters could help him. Overall, it was a great quick trip! We love Nauvoo!

Welcome Anna! You are going to wonder what you did with all of your time before!

Yay! Welcome to the neighborhood. Ditto to the 'babbel family' comment ... I have to limit myself to one hour a day because I love reading blogs! I have so many friends who have great blogs, and then I click on their friends' blogs ... yaddi yadda yadda ... it just goes on and on. It's addicting, and I have to be careful because I spend WAY more time reading other peoples' blogs than I spend writing on my own. But, it's fun to be connected!

ALRIGHT!! you got a blog!! I still have yet to pressure my family members to start up but I guess they need to get a better internet connection first!! Their computer speed embarrasses the stone age.
